A few members on here and I have gone to Stellar Built. They know their stuff, but are also super busy and not the cheapest place.

I'm pretty sure that was just a paint shop and not a body shop. Anyways I have no idea who did it.

KNeisels in Rocklin does pretty good work. However, almost all shops seem to be 3-4 weeks out just for an estimate.

Putting a feeler out there. Should find out whether or not my Tundra is totaled tomorrow. If so, I’ll need to remove my wheels and tires and will be in the market for some stockers. Anyone interested in a potential trade + cash on your end?
Tires have ~5000 miles on them. Would be looking to do the deal ASAP assuming it’s totaled

Sorry to hear about your truck. Hope everyone is ok.

If they do decide to total your truck would you consider selling the ADD bumper? (I have a complete stock front bumper from my ‘16 to put on for the insurance company).

Has anyone owned both a front bench seat 2nd gen and a bucket seat 2nd gen? I've been holding out on getting a new Tundra, but my 2006 is showing its age (230k) and can't tow our trailer (safely). Prices are ridiculous and inventory is still sparse even with the 3rd gens out. We are a family of 5 so a crewmax is necessary, but I'm stuck on getting a higher trim and only having 5 seats or a SR5 and the front bench so a friend/my niece can fit in the truck. Is the bench comfortable or practical? I love having leather with kids, so covers would be necessary. Tried looking over features between the levels, but anything blaring I would be missing out on? I never use my seat heaters in my Limited now and usually keep sunroofs closed anyways.

Seen a black tundra all decked out with a overland rack on the back in Elk Grove today. Believe license plate said EAZY916. Seeing if you’re on here. Nice tundra!

Still on truck but pulling this weekend
2.5 King RR coilovers (standard travel) and 2.5 King RR rear shocks
    Icon uniball UCAs

Kings have ~30k miles, icons have ~5k miles IIRC (can verify this)

all from a 2016. Asking in the $2500 range

I’ve had both. The center of the bench seat is pretty uncomfortable. Mainly because of the hump on the floor. Might be ok for kids but not really for adults. It was nice to have when you absolutely had to fit 6 people but I’ve only had to do that like 2 times. And had my 10 yo daughter on there. Another factor to consider is the bench seat only comes with the small gas tank. That sucked more than the seat.

Great to know, thanks! Would only use it for road trips and quick trips around town. Probably bring one of the kids car seats up front to avoid the uncomfortable seat.

The gas tank definitely was something I thought about. I use a 26 gal in my 1st gen now and it’s fine (fill once a week) but it’s a pain when I tow our trailer. I don’t think CA has an option for a 38 gal besides fabbing up the OEM 38 gal tank. So at least an option later on.
