Actually, you get to play with both/either, as long as you’re willing to drive. Occasionally, NorCal and SoCal get together.

These two responses made me laugh. Thanks.

I remember back in my tacomaworld days, I would mainly head south for meets. Then I would put on some pismo events for the norcal and socal guys to come play in the sand with.
    Good times.

You were there too? I just got home. Got pulled over for doing 90 but CHP let me go. I love taking the dirt road between Jean and Primm to bypass that 15 traffic to the state line.

They had an area in the Denio's parking lot set up for them which was full, and there was a whole bunch more overflow in the parking lot next to it along with general people parking. So regular cars mixed in everywhere. There was a lot of cool setups there. Many had their awnings and RTT's set up. A few people were hanging around their vehicles but not everyone. I walked up and down the aisles checking out the setups, but it was getting too hot so I split. I was hoping to see someone with an awning mounted on Yakima bars, but almost every single rack there was the Prinsu style.
I ended up talking a bit with a guy in a white TRD Pro that I parked next to. He said he had a 2nd Gen Tacoma at home. He wasn't on this forum though, I asked.

Hey everyone from NorCal new to the group, Roseville west sac area. Did I make the right choice buying a 2021 mgm limited or.? Everything I’m seeing is about the 2022 recently with a lot of amenities and how the 21’s are ancient. So far on mine I’ve gone 6112 route but the driver side is shorter than the passenger what size coachbuilder shims and shackles should I run? I was after slightly taller than my father in laws pro as I have car seats and two little ones.

    mods-
    6112 @ 1.9
    Backflip mx4 matte
    Tundra bed mat
    Oem bed extender
    Trd shifter
    Door pocket protection film
    Color match bumper ends
Trd pro color match grille and bulge
Oem sensor glass (didn’t realize I needed two retainer washers)
    Rough country seat covers
Color matched door handles and Trd sway bar, tailgate lock and grab handle yet to be installed. With Trd center caps as well.

My tundra went in for first service and master tech noticed coolant leaks. Under the manifold that didn’t present anything in the driveway. My truck is just over 5000 and with dealer customer service and leaks and the amount of parts I’ve bought at dealer cost I figured I would’ve got a little better experience. Maybe that’s why I’m questioning my 2021 the customer service seems a sign of the times as the customer is educating dealers. Hope to see you guys around. I’ll be sure to give a wave if I see you on 80 at 5:00 am or again @ 2:30
