Concord ehh... I'd like some chit to be gone over before my bumper to bumper is up.
Oakland has 2 Toyota dealerships, are they both that bad?
Dublin sales dept. was pretty bad, rude SOB with a if you wanna lower price then getta a lower trim attitude.

 

I have not used either of the Oakland dealers. I’ve used Concord and Walnut Creek. Both have been good but the Concord dealership is larger and pre-Covid it was very comfortable to work in the showroom when waiting for my vehicle. Concord also is the Costco dealer so I use a Costco 15% off coupon for everything.

 

The dealership I went to in Oakland was One Toyota. I went for recall work and to have them checkout my rear differential. There's fluid seeping through the front flange gasket, not a dripping leak but still a concern. They looked at it, said basically they'd just watch it and not to worry it's under warranty. I'm pretty sure any signs of leakage are cause for concern they just didn't want to deal with it. Needless to say it's seeping more and needs to get fixed.

 

I have always used Dublin but after the last service (30K) I am done with them. Told them that I already changed the oil, rotated the tires and not to wash it. They called me after having it for a few hours and told me they couldn't get my oil filter housing off (Jowett) I said why the hell are you taking it off. I go to pick up my truck and it has water spots all over it. On the way home I was almost rear ended, glanced up and noticed that they unplugged the cables on my dashcam, they say its their policy. Time to give Livermore a try.

 

Haha, their policy to unplug the dash cam so there's no evidence of their maleficence.

 

Don’t let Livermore wash your truck neither. Matter of fact no one should let any dealer wash their trucks. The one time I forgot to tell them not to wash my truck, they scratched the shit out of my truck. Once I got it into a certain lighting, it looked like they wiped down my entire truck with a Brillo pad. If my truck wasn’t covered in pinstripes I would’ve been pissed.

 

Whatever you all do, do NOT touch Vacaville Toyota. Worst service department I have ever seen. They could offer me free service for life and I still wouldn't touch the place.

Long wait times. Bad service. Attempted add-ons that weren't even designed for my truck (they tried to sell me on some 4runner shit). I would go on, but you can just go look at their reviews.

Blown Icon hydro bump. 6 months old. Wasn't expecting, the ones on the Tacoma are ancient and still fine.
Not a lot of off-pavement miles on the Tundra, just lucky I guess.
