    I've been to Seattle more times than I can count. You don't want to go there right now, nothing but rain. Head south! San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park. Don't do Seaworld.

    Ya gotta have a flag at Pismo. Why not have one that works at night too? Last time I was down there I could hear people running at night. I imagine if you have to have a flag in the daylight, you'd need a lighted one for the dark.
    I would run power from the engine bay and they sell brackets for your bed rail tracks.

    Been to Seattle with the kids a few times, they love it. There's the space needle and glass garden. Lots of stuff down by the water too.

    I prefer SD but my kids don't like heat or sun. :crazy: They love the cooler rainy weather.

    I'm up there about 5-6x's a year, love Seattle. Not sure what i'd do with kids though.

    But we are road trip family, we'd all rather get in a car and drive places.

    I was in N.O. when I was 7 for Mardi Gras. It is a really great, very fond, memory even though my dad almost got in a fight with a cotton candy vendor. I'd love to take my kids there.

    Oh yeah, they enjoyed the amphibious vehicle ride too, the ducks but I think due to a huge fatality accident those are no more.

    MIL = Mother in Law

    And the picture you have in your head is probably dead on. I've been with my wife for 15 years and still can't understand half the shit the old man says. But he can skeet shoot like nothing you've ever seen in your life.

    And still will eat a country squirrel when he can find one (none of that city squirrel shit though). And everytime he sees me he tells me about this employee he had that always smelled of bong water........i don't think he likes the way I smell ;)

    it's not bad, but why not drive down? Make a stop or two on the way? Stop in Santa Barbara day one.

    That said, I hate flying and always prefer to drive. But at the same time, I do about 20-30 plane flights a year :(

    We just thought it would be the same as far as paying for gas, and maybe saving a little bit of time? Last time I flew was to Hawaii(Mia's first time), and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be..

    Driving to LA is ok, but that drive to SD sucks balls. I flew there once and it was definitely worth it. Probably close to what gas would cost but save like 10 hours. When you planning on going?
