    Don’t gotta Tundra.
Put my name down for a 2019 Crewmax Pro this summer.

Wouldn’t have the time for abusing it between the kids and working to pay for the kids.

    :spy:

Good job, @Marty McFly, lurking without commenting....

    I don't have your willpower.
Looked like that rock garden at the start challenged that Jeep a bit. Then I thought she found a good line over the line of higher rocks around that turn (about :38)- I'm eager to learn how that goes with a Tundra's wheel base.

She probably had a good spotter :notsure: . Anyway, you will. So you'll be fine.

:anonymous: After my first time out with the SoCal team I spent $200 to someone with skills to eradicate my pinstripes. :spending:
Committed. But still want to be pretty.
    :angrygirl: Thankful for overtime $.
Looked to me like that down hill bit was super steep. On our SoCal runs, guys start getting close together approaching hills (up or down) and I remind 'em I need space in case a truck loses traction and slides (mine most likely, since I still have a 2WD).

    * sorry to intrude with bossy advice: I figure I'll post it as a 'public safety announcement' for any new 4 wheelers still learning how to play in a new, big truck. All of whom, I'm sure, read the BASTRD threads.

    This. :annoyed:

On a side note, if I can convince myself to buy a 2018, I found a truck with everything I have + 4x4. So now I've got to play with getting local dealerships to value mine, and see if I can convince a local dealer to trade with the out-of-state dealership that has it. :duel:

I'm wishing I live in NorCal. :pout:

By this I mean, I want the frequent off-road Tundra runs in SoCal that you BASTRDS have in NorCal. And... I want a 4x4. #word

$200 for a detail is a pretty good deal. Do you know what they did?

My truck will be parked at the airport for a few days. I'll leave $200 on the dash if anyone wants to detail it.

Who would be stupid enough to follow so close that a rock could hit your windshield? :anonymous:

So from the pics I’ve seen and comments I’ve read, I think this trail is going to be a pleasantly surprisingly difficult trail. Kinda like Barney. The easy parts are going to have a lot of loose rocks. The couple of steep parts are going to be really steep and loose. And we’re gonna get a buttload of stripes.

If it’s not in direct sight, just wait for the next one. These windshields on our trucks crack so easily.

It is at the top on the passenger side, so I don't even see it unless I'm looking for it. I'll get it fixed/replaced eventually.

I’ll just throw this out there. If anyone needs detail work let me know.

I could pull out the heavy stuff, but I don’t recommend cutting to deep. For the most part it came out great.

A little over a year later the truck got some new stripes, but it’s holding its sheen!

lol. I got you! Candy red Kangs mang!!
My buddy just got a contract with a new ceramic coat company. I was thinking of doing my truck sometime during my family leave since I have access to the shop now I can do it in a controlled environment rather then getting burned and baked at my parents house.

I think they did clay bar and machine buffing only along the areas that had pinstripes (doors and "hips"), more on one side than the other. My paint was perfect otherwise, <4,000 miles. Now that it's fixed, I wish I had pics I could submit for a BASTRDs sticker.

Sadly, the 3 dings down to metal just behind the lip of the hood (paint not chrome) have not yet been repaired.

I was waaaaay back from other trucks, speeding up that wash-- I thought-- but dem rocks sho can fly.
    :mudding:

 I don't care what you use, if it makes my truck look good.

Thanks joon! Had a wedding to go to in Monterey, unfortunately my wifes uncle passed today. Plan on being with family now. But, if I was going I would be following "cemented" after he clears the way!! I too have cordlees tools to give just enough clearance, but leaving enough for those that want to get "pin striped!" ;)
