    Any suggestions?
You must be my neighbor!! i'm also in the redwoods and 15 min from the beach!! it is a beautiful place and im blown away with the nature of this state!! the sad part is it's over populated!!! if you can handle a bunch of ppl doing the same thing you are on your day off then it's no biggie.. Its too much for me. This state is way overpopulated! A day at the ski resort can turn into a 10 hour traffic nightmare whenever there is a snow storm! it's happened to me way too many times! And same with beach traffic, its wack!!!

Yeah, you won't likely catch me in that traffic. I'll go mid week or the off times but not with the crowds. And beach traffic, LOL. Beach cruiser in the back of the truck, just get close and pedal past the parked traffic.
I guess I'm kinda spoiled 'cause I set my own schedule and do things when others are busy at work. Heck, when I need lumber from my supplier in Watsonville I go around 10am to avoid traffic. After 2pm I won't get on the freeway going south. I remember when you could drive the freeway at the speed limit any time of day here. Really, the whole world is overpopulated but that's another issue.
Today there was an elderly lady at the bank who was so mean to the teller that the teller had to take a minute to go in the back and cry. It really had an effect on me, I felt so bad for this poor girl who never talked back and seemed so undeserving of the treatment. I was her next customer and I wish I'd been better able to offer her some sort of comfort. Anyhow, that's a big part of why I'm anti negativity at present. That, and my great grandfather was born here in the 1800s so, kinda attached to Ca.

What do you guys think about this deal? I'm still running my factory tires on my trd wheels with 6112's at 1.9"? They are 33's, dont really want to trim/cut up too much or loose a bunch of mpg

Seems like a pretty legit price.. I’d probably offer $300 and ask about patches, plugs, and cupping.

Already asked, they said 60-70% tread left, no patches/plugs/cupping all 4 are worn evenly.

    Will these things fit?

I agree with @SC_TRD about the price. Mount and balance will probably run you about $100.

Also, with a 12.5 wide tire on stock wheels there is a chance that they will rub on the UCAs. I have seen some who are able to run the 12.5 but 295s are a better width for the stock wheels. You can add spacers but there is a chance of rubbing more when you push the wheels out. (I previously ran 295x65x18s on a +25 wheel with 2" of lift and just had to remove mud flaps and push the font liner forward.)

So i'm not super familiar with tires, why would a 295 be a better width if 285's are going to be close to uca's?

285s are 11.22 in wide, 295's are 11.61 in wide. These are both narrower than 12.5 in wide tires.

    gotcha.
I'm searching on here to see if anyone has gotten them to fit.
the place thats selling them is a tire shop, so might be able to mount one and check and see if it works.

I remember when I went to 33s - I spend a lot of time trying to figure out what would fit and what mods I would need to do. Unfortunately there is no set rule and the same tires can fit differently on two identical trucks. :(

It would be great if the shop would test fit one tire for you. If the tire does end up being too close to the UCAs then an option is to run spacers (either Bora or Spidertrax). A 1.25" spacer will basically make the stock TRD wheel a +28.25 offset. This will give you clearance from the UCA but will increase the chance of rubbing on the cab mount. I ran a 295/65 tire which is a little taller and a little narrower and I did not need a cab mount chop. I think that if you need to run spacers there is a really good chance that you could just remove the mud flap behind the wheel, push the front liner forward ~1 inch and be good. :fingerscrossed:

Thanks! I asked them if it would be possible to throw one on the truck and see if it clears.

I dont really want to have to buy spacers, kinda starts to negate the good deal. I'll see what they say about a test fit, i may just hold off to find some that will fit a little better. My factory tires only have 20k miles on them, but i want something a little taller and aggressive looking.
