Selling my King 2.5 rear reservoir shocks with adjusters. They are in fantastic shape and look almost brand new still. No leaks or pitting.

    Selling for $500 firm.

One shock does have a gouge in the reservoir housing. Does not affect the shock, just suggest trimming the upper shock mount to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

PM me if your interested. Located in Santa Cruz, can meet just on the other side of 17 in Los Gatos, but anything more than that will have to be discussed.

I have been doing a lot of reading and am not too sure I’ll be able to fit them without glass fenders given they are 13.5” wide, especially when they get stuffed up into the fender. Hoping I can find some 17” wheels to grab the STT Pro tires in a size 37x12.5... if not I am seriously considering some 37” pizza cutters.. the Ridge Grapplers in a size 37x11.5r18. Pretty sure I could fit those no problem, but having difficulty finding good reviews on them, just seems rather skinny

A lot depends on your wheel offset. But, to be honest, I think 17" wheels are the way to go......... so are glass fenders.:boink:

Anyone know a shop in Sac specifically for suspension that they used before? I wanna have Bilstein 5100 installed, I called a place and he wants $300 for installation.

that doesn’t sound like an unreasonable price from a shop.. I’d throw out some feelers for other local member and offer some beer and BBQ.. pretty easy job, just a little bit of time

It's the transferring of the Springs that I'm scared to DIY it. Or I could just order 6112 assembled for a lil bit over $700 and install it myself.

I hear that.. ask a local shop about doing the springs.. my local place has a wall mounted spring compressor and charges me $20 per shock to install or remove a spring... I have also been going to him since 2005, so not sure if thats a fair comparison.

Was thinking the same thing, 5100 + installation will be close to the 6112 price.

@jr1016 I recently installed the 5100s all around on my 08. I’m in the Lincoln area and would be happy to help out. I know opinions vary on the DIY spring compression but I just rented the tool for auto zone and it was no big deal.

6112s would be sweet though if the price jump isn’t a big deal. If I had the budget, that would have been my choice.

Just saw a white 2016 TSS (Texas plates) with 58k for sale for 28.5k parked near where I live. Not sure about 4wd but damn it looked good and price seems good (dependent on 4wd). Wish I was ready to bump up to a new truck.

Your post was great - I just quoted your post so that my comment had some context. :D

Seller’s ad said “free” and I could not let free spindles go to waste. Especially since he is so close to where I live.

I don’t have enough posts to in the classifieds section but I have my stock front skid plate off my 2020 Platinum for FREE. This thing is pretty thin but doesn’t require any trimming to fit larger tires unlike prior years.
