Hi.
I’m thinking BUILD is the wrong term for my Tundra. Enhancing is a better term.

2018 TRD Off-road in Silver Sky. DC

Left Connecticut for some clients work in AZ and CA. (2 months+)

Figured along the way I’d see what enhancements I would need on truck.

1) DONE:Warranty On Brake controller. Replaced

2) DONE:Stock LED foglights have to be decorative because they are worthless.
Bought BD Squadron Pro’s in amber. (Installed. See post/pix below)

3) DONE: Debadged-Destickered truck. Took it to http://www.adonisdetail.com/ for a polish and ceramic coating. Wheels too. Looks freaking awesome!

4) DONE: Tinting all glass.

5) DONE: Installed the GoRhino RB20 boards. Solid!! (Bedliner version)

6) To do: Speakers, sound deaden doors/backwall

7) To do: DAP tune for 2018 is not available yet.

8) DONE: Diamondback HD cover

9) DONE: 6112/5100 set at lowest height.

10) DONE: Nitto Ridge grapplers 275/65/18

11) DONE: TRD Sway bar

12) DONE: Pop n Lock PL8535

13) To do: Katzkins leather w/heat

So as you can see... this isn’t a build. It’s an enhancement!!

Truck was delivered at 4:00

Looks wet. No other feedback as of yet. (Tired as hell and made arrangements for putting my trusty dog down this Saturday)

Will post more. The ceramic is a private label that’s going public soon. To the touch it feels silky and smooth!

Face on pic, low beams only pic, low beams with pros on pic.

They do exactly what I need. Blow up dark desolate roads.

It’s tint Friday. Not doing windshield. Back is “golf clubs safe” dark.

 

Gorhino RB20 are great height for stopping many door dings.

 

I said the same thing about my RB10's. Not to mention the finish will for sure scratch their car

Retraxpro MX came in.

For a 5’7” bed!! Not my fault. It’s going back!

I questioned the order when invoice was emailed to me but was “ASSured” the proper model was ordered.(order said crewmax 6’7” bed aka the unicorn tundra)
In the same call I corrected the wrong shipping address. Anyone else see a pattern here ?

Sooooo fedex can pick it up.

Problem now is I’m on west coast headed to east coast next Saturday. (Needed cover)

I’m going to just order the Diamondback HD and go by their plant in PA on my drive and pay them to install. For $50 to install I’m thinking they may know how to do it properly.

I’d pay 6% tax this way but I’d pay $150 shipping anyway. Mostly a wash $ wise.

SMH at this gaffe. I’m not going to identify the company that took order here on forum. (Unless of course they are slow crediting my card lol)

They are NOT one of our fine vendors though!
