I recently noticed the following noise, two separate times, a month apart in my 2019 crewmax with 9k miles on it:

Both times i was on a flat road/parking lot, and pulling up to a steep incline in order to continue to another road. Each time i approached the start of the incline slowly and eased the accelerator. Both times, as i began to give it more gas the truck barely moved at first, likely because i was feathering it, and then i hear a very light bang from underneath the truck before the truck begins to drive up. Im absolutely sure i never struck any objects or scraped the truck. The noise wasn’t loud and did not shake or shudder the truck but it sounded strange for sure. Im not sure if it was a gear slipping due to the slow approach and then the push up the incline or another transmission issue as ive never had this happen before.
No other noises come after and no lights on the dash and no visible damage when looking under truck.

I get the same thing exactly on my 2020, I was thing it was coil spring or a suspension knock. It only does it when the truck has sat for a few minutes and then I hop in and give a little goose and hear the knock underneath.

It could be the ABS self test. There are a bunch of threads on it around here if you want to read up.

Another thing to check is the carrier bearing and bracket. My '07 DC made a clunk sound when down shifting, or changing drive angles. Though I thought it was more because of the mileage my '07 had, which was almost 200K. However, since you are well under warranty, you may want to have them check the bolts are torqued to spec on your carrier bearing, and drive line. Something to look at anyway. Now I haven't noticed it on my '14 CM so not sure if I am used to it, or it's a DC vs CM thing.
