    Hans,

Here is a quick side view of the truck with the wheels. She needs a bath and I will be putting on MGM matched mirror covers and door handles this weekend. After that will be new rubber and Icon 2.5 lift with UCA's later this year.

Your truck looks like a TRD Pro now from the side. I guess that eventually you will switch out the grille surround and hood bulge to MGM?

I went from a 4Runner to a Tundra. I would buy my wife Tundra driving lessons before I would go back..

Glad I’m not the only one. Last night “ @COMiamiFan lets Monica drive his Tundra. Why are you such an asshole?”

You can MOD them up and they look cool but the 4.0 is doggy and not having a bed will be a direction I will never take again.

My wife has not driven mine. In fact I discourage her from even looking at it.
I can’t even remember how many “incidents” she has had between Her old Yukon and now Highlander.

It’s not as if a 2018 4Runner Limited is cheap... it’s no Carolla out the door.

Thought so. And I’d guess the 4Runners keep their value a little better too. I sold my 2000 4Runner - stock SR5 - with 225k on it 3 years ago for $7500

In spite of all the cars we've gone through, I've always held on to my 1996 SR5 4Runner. It's just too good of a vehicle to sell. Plus it gets twice the gas mileage of the Tundra, especially around town.

Aren't 4Runners the last SUV's in that class that are build on a frame instead of unibody?

My 96 has body/trim damage and I'm getting people trying to buy it for $4-5K. Just can't let it go.

I know why I have to keep the 4Runner. The son that caused the damages goes skiing and I will not let him take the Tundra to the mountains so he can wreck that one also.

Seriously, while looking for trim parts, I literally am using duct tape to hold parts in place.

I can't answer the question on differences but the TRD OR model is offered in leather and is pretty sweet! Like I mentioned in an earlier post the wife and I sat in a TRD OR with leather a few weeks ago I believe sticker was about $42k. The TRD OR has locking rear, hill descent, and crawl control like a TRD OR Tacoma plus you get a shifter to put it in 4wd instead of a knob.

Nice. My wife's 2012 4Runner Limited has been a pretty good vehicle. I will say it feels cramped compared to the Tundra (that's a testament to the room in the Tundra more than a knock on the 4runner). We're at 72k miles and hoping to keep it for a few more years before she get's the itch for something else :) We did have a blown shock assembly, and ripped the XREAS system out for 5100's.
