There's a mod to defeat that. It's about 4 down on my list.

Man thats amazing what you have been thru and have come a long way especially after 17 years of being deaf! This tech these days is amazing and we see kids adapt very quickly to their new implants. Yep makes sense..

Yes, but you don't need a microwave to make a Samsung explode and catch on fire... just be patient and It'll do it on it's own.

I love puns (especially hearing ones) !! I always love to play jokes on family and friends at my expense (picking up a phone and telling them it's for them when there's no one on the other end, or them asking me to do something and asking me why I didn't do it, then I say "I didn't hear you say that" (that last ones mostly reserved for my wife!)

Deafness does have its perks! LOL

Rial cast wheels. Looking for TRD Pro grill with chrome surround
    Couple questions here.

At 25+mph shifting into reverse causes the truck to actually go into neutral while activating the camera. What happens if the speed coasts to below 25 while the shifter is still in reverse?

Can one of you electrical engineer types figure out how to wire in a switch to turn the camera on while the shifter is still in drive?

I used this as a kid all the time (mostly deaf in my right ear). It was all fun and games til' I got sentenced to hearing aids. Your wife must really love you.

I'm curious about the switch thing also. I read a thread over on tacoma world of people able to wire a switch to turn on the backup camera anytime without changing drive gears. I'm sure it's possible for this truck also! I'm just not smart enough.

I've seen a mod on here somewhere. it puts a switch right above the rear view mirror to turn it on but still lets the truck put it on when in reverse.

I'm going to say what everybody that has read this is thinking. This whole idea is stupid on so many levels its embarrassing. It's the kind of thing I would expect to find if lurking on a dodge ram or a ford raptor forum. I am imagining people are posting links to this thread from Boston to Baghdad as proof of what idiots drive Toyotas. If you need to check your hitch, pull of the damn road and check it.
