What this guy said! Trust him, he drives a Dodge. If anyone knows about blown transmissions it'd be a Dodge owner.

You guys are all wrong. Toyota engineers removed the cooler when they realized the truck has no payload capacity anyways :bananadead::bananadead::bananadead::bananadead::bananadead::bananadead:

Eh, Both my brothers have brand new GM products, 1500 series. We drive in the same town on the same roads same driving habits (after all we learned to drive from the same Dad). They actually have more highway miles than I. Best mileage either of them have is 18, they average 14. Just like my Tundra and I don't have the ezgo golf cart engine shut off option to disable every stinkin' time you crank it up.

The good news is the 2022 is getting a "prison wallet" storage underneath the bed like the Ridgeline.

I wasn’t saying it’ll burn up like the transmission or comparing it to what the others have to offer. I mentioned it cause there are quite a few threads about how bad it is and it seems a lot of people recommend replacing it and the entire jbl system if you care about sound quality.

There’s a lot of people who think Toyota can do no wrong and don’t want to hear examples where Toyota might have cut corners.

That was back when it needed one. The same transmission doesn’t need it now.

Apparently not according to several posts in this thread.

I mean the new trucks do have one. The part that was called a warmer in 2008.

Because you must trust Toyota engineers and never question their decisions. They know all and see all.

So if you tow a trailer with your 2019 and KO2's you're phvcked. But tow with Ridge Grapplers and you're Tundra Of The Year.

OK. Glad I got that noodled out. :bananadead:

Mine only gets hot pulling a grade.

I put bigger tires on the back so I'm always going downhill and that solved it.
