Yeah those things are plagued with transmission issues. It’s the biggest reason aside from needing space that I dumped the truck.

"Plagued" I think is a bit of an over exaggeration. Many complained of the constant shifting but no really issues with failures.

I think mine was the first third gen made and then they sped up the assembly line.

Yessir...I believe that stuffing pieces in face and down the front of clothing COULD be a metaphor for their "employee discount".

It's not just Toyota. I just read an article that said Apple is discontinuing cooling fans on some new Mac computers.

I'm telling you, this is bigger than just transmissions. This is part of a larger conspiracy. Probably a secret government experiment to examine the effects of increased heat to the human body.

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
    +1!

Now don't they still have a transmission oil 'warmer'? If so, that also serves as a 'cooler' keeping temps similar to the engine coolant. Correct me if I'm wrong about the warmer....

It's a warmer when the ATF is cooler than the coolant. It's a cooler when the ATF is warmer than the coolant.

I sort of figured you would run coolant thru hoses connected to the tubes, if not those tubes wouldn't dissipate any heat.
