Yep it does. Kinda like that pic I had posted and below that they tell you if you would have to do any trimming to be able to turn or not

Is there a reason you want a specific sized lift? I'm not second guessing you getting whatever you like (obviously, it's your truck. And great color, BTW), but the reason that I ask is if it is based primarily on aesthetics and not on off road performance, then I'd suggest really looking a lot of pictures of trucks with 35's and 4 vs 6 inch lifts. Because once you spend that money, the last thing you will want to do is see another Tundra with the size lift you didn't choose...and start second guessing yourself with a nagging feeling of buyer's remorse. Specifically, I know people that have gotten the smaller lift (I've got an 07 with a 5" and a 20 with a 3") and then looked at bigger truck and regretted not going taller. But I've also know others that went with taller (my buddy has a '12 with a 7") and then wish they didn't have so much space between the tire and the fender.

So look at pics and videos and other Tundras in person til you are sure your opinion won't change. You'll be happier in the log run.

And thanks for your service to this fine Nation, sir!:oldglory:

One other thing on picking a shop to do the work, especially if you have to do the body mount chop (BMC or CMC): While components being installed go in really only one way, the BMC can be an area where the shops skills really come through. Or not. There are some great pics on the forum and on google on BMC, and you can see a wide variety of finish work among them. Neatness and how pretty the grinding/welding/painting look in the end probably don't make much of a difference, if any (unless it is really, really bad), but if you have the choice between the two, it might be important to you that the welds look good and the splatter is ground off and the job generally looks neat, like it came from the factory that way. That way if you ever sell it, some potential buyer doesn't get scared off but the sloppy craftsmanship...even if we all know it won't affect the performance of the truck. Wouldn't hurt to ask the shop you are considering if they have any pics of other trucks they did.

    My two cents...

This for sure. And of course alot comes into play with what lift you get and offset wheels and how wide a tire you want. For instance I clear my 35s 12.5" wide tires no problem with my 6" lift but now with wider wheels and offset I have to do a bmc and 1/2" bumper shims also to clear for turning.

Yep your way out there lol by calculation I should stick out like maybe 6" or so give or take with a 12.5 wide. I cant wait to even get my wheels they are on back order I might get them by the end of February.

Thanks for your support! And I totally get what your saying and agree with you. The reason is 95% aesthetics and I have been looking at a lot of pictures. Will a 4'' satisfy what I want? Maybe. But I cant see myself being disappointed with a 6'' however I can see a slight chance of being disappointed with a 4''. Luckily (and unfortunately) the price point has gone beyond what im currently willing to spend so I will have a few more months to mull things over before I actually pull the trigger.

What started as I want more aggressive tires became I want more aggressive and bigger tires which lead to I need new wheels and a lift . (which I always liked/wanted anyways). So while I was prepared to spend $3000 has quickly doubled.

Don't get me wrong, I could easily drop all of my tax return and get this shit done! but id rather save up and have keep some in savings. Dadgum wife and kids always get in the way of fun shit!

With some patience, you could save some of the money the lift yourself at the base craft shop. I know they have every tool you need to remove the factory stuff and add the new stuff. It is really a lot less challenging than it seems and you might save $2k that you could spend on some tires and wheels.

I am going to miss the white letters. When I get new tires for the wheels I just got. I think I'm going to get some fury offroad tires fairl6new company but they offer an RT. With a 45 mile tread warranty and alot of sema trucks are using them on there big wheels.

It might be worth paying the extra but the place I'm buying tires from told me if I'm not happy with the balance of the tires come back and I can get a different set ordered as long as it's not like a week later

Been doing a lot more research. getting a better grasp of things.

    Two questions:

The difference between the procomp stage 1 and 2 are just the coilovers correct?

What are the negatives to just putting a stage one on now and adding coilovers in a year other than money?

Does a stage one just have spacers to lift it. If so the ride quality will not be the greatest. But thats exactly what I did with my lift. Went from a spacer o. Top to these extended struts. Screenshot_20200130-194559_Gallery.jpg

That's why im trying to figure out. Im just at the gathering info stage right now tying to make a informed decision. My options are get the lift without coilovers and wheels/tires now or wait and get the stage two all at once. Im just trying to get the pro's and cons of of having just the spacers.

Got ya im not for sure of the answer. But if not offloading you would be fine with a spacer lift but it's still a rougher ride even on the rd then a coil over

Update on where im at. I found a shop that I like here in Vegas and talked to them for awhile and picked out a 6'' Procomp stage 1 lift, some 20'' fuel wheels and 35'' ridge grapplers. When its all said and done and installed, after taxes and alignment they quoted me $6500. Though im pretty sure I can get the tires about $200 cheaper than they quoted and haven't looked up the rims online to see if I could get them cheaper. But overall im excited to get it done. Now just have to save up a lil more $$$ but shouldn't take long

Nice not cheep but this stuff isn't cheep on labor. Definitely see how much a wheel and tire package is with custom offsets they even mount them and balance for free along with shipping free. Just a suggestion. you might save a little cash

Sounds like a plan man. And if your tires began to wear crazy on the front get in touch with David at Coach Builder.

Update to the update. So after looking at my current tires i do not believe they will last long enough to wait for me to get the lift. So i have two options. Throw on some cheap tires and call it day. Or go ahead and get new wheels & put some some 285 ridge grapplers and wait a couple of years to do the lift.
Im leaning towards getting new wheels & tires. That will atleast give me the look even tho it wont be lifted (leveling kit installed now) and allow me to do other stuff to the truck while i wait for the new tires to wear down enough to justify 35's and a lift.
I am looking at 20x10 fuel wheels and 285 ridge grapplers. wheels with -18mm offset.
My only question i have and im pretty sure i know the answer and im good. But want to make sure. The 20x10 wheels that i get will work just fine with 35's if i ever get them right?
