    Hey everyone!

I'm a proud new member of this forum and, apparently, of an even more exclusive club: the "My Tundra’s Motor Needed Replacing Before I Finished Breaking in the Seat Cushion" club.

Here’s the scoop: I’m rolling around in a sleek 2023 Platinum Tundra (black, of course, because I like my trucks like I like my coffee – dark and intimidating). She’s only got 28k miles on her, but apparently, the engine decided it was time to retire early. Yep, that’s right – motor replacement before my first set of tires needed changing. Lucky me, huh?

Originally from Northeast Texas, I now call the Panhandle of Florida home. If you’re ever down here and spot a shiny black Tundra that’s half in pieces (temporarily, I hope), feel free to wave. Or laugh. I’d understand either way.

Looking forward to learning from y’all and maybe even contributing if I can. And hey, if anyone’s got any tips for how to prevent engine #2 from taking early retirement, I’m all ears!

    Cheers,
Your friendly, slightly unlucky, new forum buddy Jon

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Where in the Panhandle are you? My in-laws are in the Pensacola area.

Sorry to hear about your truck. Hopefully, Toyota will make you whole and you'll get years of good service out of it.
