New tundra, steering wheel vibrating 65 +

    So I took my truck in this morning and rode with a technician. Guess what? Correct, it did not vibrate during the ride.

    This is a guy that helped me troubleshoot an issue with my Tacoma and that I trust.

    His explanation was that what I was experiencing resulted from flat spots in the tires from sitting for extended periods. After the tires warm up the shimmy lessens until it goes away. This actually makes sense to me.

    He said most of the Tundras do it and it also explains why I experienced it when test driving other Tundras with different tires that had been sitting on the lot.

    I'm going to learn to live with it. Hope you resolve your problem OP.
