Thank you. The truck is currently a stock Limited DC. Just got the front side windows tinted, waxed, and paint protection film up front. Not to mention Weathertech floor mats, and Access Original tonneau. Looking to possibly add new exhaust and interceptor.

You will get a lot of help/ideas here. Do you 4 wheel a lot or occasionally, not at all? Is your Limited $X4?. Anything goes here. 2WD or 4X4.

It's a 4x4. Only for the Indiana winters. I'm not an off-roader. I am an high school art teacher and potter. I plan on selling my work again at craft fairs and the such when I retire soon. I chose the DC for more bed space for my ware and canopy, etc. I also plan on getting a camper or pop up for me and my wife to see the country. I found this forum trying to get ideas for improved mpg, but this forum is great because it's not all about lifts and rock crawling. Not me. It's also great because others feel as I do about toyotas. My taco served me well, as I sold it at 150k and I know that was only at half its life. (Got 13k from the dealer for it!)
The Tundra is hands down the most beautiful truck out there. And the most reliable. I didn't want my truck to look like the front end of a semi.

You can get some minimal mph gains with a few mods which you can find here on the forum and you will no doubt be getting some opinions here soon enough. You might want to post some pics of your craft here. You might make some $ here. (I'm pushing 60 by the way) December

I love the Blue Ribbon Metallic. Not that I had a choice, it was the last limited on the lot. I could have any color as long as it was blue. Under seat storage, remote starter, glass breakage sensor. Ffv.

Nice truck. Congrats. Welcome to the forum.

If you are concerned with the mpg, stay stock. Stock configuration is optimized pretty well for mpg. Anytime you lift your truck or get heavy tires, you lose significant amount of mpg. Right foot mod is probably the most effective mod for mpg. Besides those, there ain't much you could do. I gained 1.9 mpg after installing TRD exhaust and TRD intake. But most people don't seem to notice any gain. But now I am lifted with have a$$ tires, my mpg is shot to h*ll.

Thanks. I'm thinking about the TRD exhaust system. How do they sound?

It sounds awesome. A lot of times, I role my window down in order to listen to the exhaust. At other times, I have to roll the window down because my children want to listen to it, haha.

Yes it is. We have a condo down there. Guess I need to pick up a new sticker now. Are you familiar with the area?

We are on 9th street Gulf drive south. Just past Bridge street. I fish at the Rod and Reel sometimes too.

Yes it is. Thanks. I plan on bringing a small flat bottom boat this year. Maybe we can have a beer and a burger at Skinnys.

I've had a '83 taco 2x4 base, '04 taco 4x4 SR5, and now the '15 Tundra 4x4 Limited. I bought each new. I have had 0 problems with the tacos. From what I hear, the Tundra will be the same. I traded in both tacos at around 150,000. The first one for a Jeep Wrangler. Big mistake. Enjoy your trouble-free ride.
