Thanks for all your input. Glad to see the community here is split just like I was...almost even with a slight lean towards the Pro.

It seems none of the dealers are able/willing to do anything with the suspension on the Platinum. One dealer even claims to have called Toyota directly to discuss a solution. It all hinges on Toyota not wanting the TSS moved.

I know I could get the suspension done elsewhere, but I was already leaning towards the Pro anyway.

Last night I called my local dealership (who said on Tuesday he could match the low price quote I got from another location) to put my deposit down on the Pro, only to find out he was actually going to be ~$2k higher in price. Obviously that was a thanks no thanks conversation. So I called the next closest dealership (1.5 hours away) who had agreed to the price. They are now making calls trying to get someone that will dealer trade their Pro to be sold to me.

The more this goes on, I'm thinking I'll just have to order one and wait for it to come in. Not really a problem, just had hoped to be in it by mid-Sept.

Well, today I jumped on USAA and did an inquiry with their car buying service (they discount the interest rate on the loan if you do this) just to have that 'technicality' out of the way.

One of the dealerships who had been unresponsive to my original inquiry directly to them on their website, reached out to me. I told them the price quoted to me by the other two. Not only did they beat that price by $500 ($49,500 out the door including the addition of the pocket flares), but they have one in their port inventory. I will be getting my truck in the next week or so!

Now to schedule first mods -
Ceramic Pro Coating exterior and interior
    Xpel Clear Bra
    Line X Bedliner
    Window Tint
Side Steps (I'm open to suggestions here as I didn't like the Toyota options)

welcome. If you go Pro, you’ll be one of the few who gets to own a Pro from the Factory in 2019. I think they only make a few thousand per year and sometimes they skip year with the pro. yes, you can mod to a Pro but the Factory look on the Pro is pretty special. it sounds like budget is not a problem so you’ll do great either way.

personally, I did not like the all black interior, I felt like it made the truck a little bit smaller inside the cab. but it seems like most of the trucks are black on black inside these days

The excitement continues to build. I got a call this morning that my truck will arrive tomorrow. They are going get the flares added and the dealer stickers removed and have everything ready for delivery on Friday. I have to wait until Friday because the dealership is an hour from home and I'm already off that day.

I'll basically drive the truck straight to the vendor for the ceramic pro, xpel clear bra, tint, and bedliner. Likely won't be ready to drive before the 23rd.

Well after seeing the badass truck below over in the for sale forum, I went with black. Not sure how soon, but eventually plan to move the appearance towards this...

First pics came in from my salesman when they finished installing the fender flares today. Even the wife says, and I quote, "You really need better tires".

I originally thought I would get some wear out of the stock tires for a little while. But seeing these pics (and seemingly having the wife's prior approval), I'll probably put some new tires on sooner than later. This will be the first time I've done anything other than stock size rubber. If I've understood what I read on the forum correctly, I should be able to fit 295/70 on the stock rims with no modification or cutting other than removing the front wind deflector/mud flap?
