Hey everyone, I'm glad to be part of the Tundra family now! That being said...I need help making sure I don't do something stupid to mess up my warranty...so I have just a few general questions about modifications...
1:Can anyone tell me about their experience regarding their MPG after removing the charcoal filter? Was it worth it?
2: Does removing the mesh screen throttle gasket void any warranties??
3: If after removing the charcoal filter, is it even worth a K&N drop in or just keep using the stock paper filter?

Performance is important, but keeping my warranty is even more important...any thoughts?

    Thanks

I don’t think any of those changes would do much. Seems a few people remove the charcoal filter but I never read anything saying that it made any difference. Your stock intake is already considered a CAI with a good air filter. Just keep it cleaned and oiled. I’d only spend money to change it if you don’t like oiled filters.
