    Welcome from Florida!

5.7 wil be the answer. Both engines will be carrying the same load. 5.7 wil have less stress vs. the 4.6.

    Welcome From the PNW!
I love the 5.7 and for resale most people would also want the 5.7, You will be better gas mileage from the 4.6 but they are harder find.

Tundra 20.jpg Fuel economy for me, was a big concern... as I typically run my work rigs to 4-5 hundred thousand miles.
the fuel savings at that point is huge over the long haul.
I got the 4.6 & never wished I had more power. hauls my construction tools & supplies daily just fine.
occasionally, I pull a light trailer.. no issues
if towing a camper, go for the 5.7 otherwise your just spending more at the pump.

    I average 19 to 20... trips 21-22

    Welcome......Slayer
