Had an 06 f250 Superduty extracab that just didn't cut it with a new kid. Loved the truck, but the cab needed a true 4drs. Anyway, my little Ranger needed the tires balanced and I happen to use the local Toyota place to do a lot of my tire work no matter the brand of car. Stumbled upon two Crewmaxes and realized that Toyota makes a huge cab on these things. One ended up being 4wd and lead to a discussion with the wife. Knew someone who would want my truck, so it could easily be sold. After a little discussion we come home with her. A 2013 SR5 4WD with a sunroof. Unfortunately, it's the flex-fuel 5.7. The supercharger mod was looking kinda dim to begin with, and now I guess that mod won't happen. I've added Silverstar bulbs in the headlights and fog lights, changed the interior to led bulbs along with the tag lights, and rear cab lights/reverse lights. Had to slap in some floor mats since it didn't come with any. Future mods are a 2'' leveling kit, toolbox, mud tires and a fix to the skid plate. There's got to be a better way to change oil than removing that plate.

Thanks. Before anyone feels too bad for me, we still have a supercharged truck, just short a few doors.

Welcome from CO. Nice truck. Take the skid plate off and cut out an access hole big enough to work with. You do realize you have a canister filter that is internal. I let someone else do my oil changes now. Check out ToyTec for your lift:

To me the best way way to change oil is when I'm not involved other than handing the plastic over to pay. :oldglory:

We still have the Mustang too. It's an 07 gt with around 21k miles. The Lightning is an 03 with 39k. Then there's the 2011 Ranger extracab, a 2000 Corolla, and a 2014 Camry. We have a small car lot I guess, but I love my trucks.

12 miles to the gallon on premium kinda helps that, not that I bought it for fuel mileage. The Mustang had 10k on it for a few years and we finally decided to just drive it. I always admired the older folks who had a Sunday car since my family could barely afford one truck. Now that I can afford vehicles it has become a hobby.

If you like...check out these Husky mats I ordered yesterday. After a few days researching, I keep coming back to these.. when down.. NO carpet is showing so when you take them out to shake. You have 100% of the floor dirt! Also great reviews! They lock in and don't slide around.
