Satin will make it look like a new OEM panel, and give it that faux armor-bumper look. Could be cool.

    Looks awesome!

FYI, that satin is also perfect for skid plates, and virtually everything attached to the frame. Clean the nozzle after and keep your hands on it

Today I spent some hours with the pressure washer spraying the engine bay, door jams, under-carrage, floor mats and the bed. Took the rotten spare tire out and removed the plastic bed liner.
Going to be doing the AC system, valve cover gasket and suspension work as soon as the parts come in...

It was crusty with a couple holes but all good
The cab and bed are pretty well rusted but still hanging in there I like it a lot.
Here's the worst spot. The bed feels very firm and secure regardless

You done good. Be careful with the inside plastic. As soon as its forced its liable to snap. Good to get the door & tg latches smooth & lubed.

I was under the truck greasing the u-joints and the driveshaft when I examined the carrier bearing. I pushed up on it and found about .5inch of play up and down. What is the normal amount of wiggle room with this part? Or is it shot and need a replacement?
