Would that have the A-pillar grab handle? That's what I am looking for in case I was not too clear in the last post.
And don't make a trip just for it, just take a look when you go next time to pull something.

Here's the plastic line the squirrel got.
    IMG_20240320_131751.jpg
recommendation I put foil tape on the outside of the new piece to deter the squirrels in the future

Here's how it's going so far
    Removed all these lines:
    IMG_20240320_174157.jpg
Reinstalled these new lines and I could not be happier it looks like factory original.

    IMG_20240320_172855.jpg

After using a pipe wrench and everything I had to separate the old rotten line, it looks like there's threads but they don't catch right. That line goes back to the FPR which I didnt have room to access.
    IMG_20240320_172928.jpg

Grabbed this good line from the doner truck... going to use a heat gun and try to cut the old plastic line and get it on the new barb

Okay finally got the fuel lines and filter replaced...

    Afterwards....
....And the last part of the Hydraulic clutch lines. Toyota discontinued the last hard line I needed. The original hard line rusted so before it blew out, i put a stainless braided flex line to replace it

If you have plastic fuel line problems again, Dorman sells a high pressure plastic repair fuel line connector kit.

Here's the working setup loaded up and still organized.
Inside the cab I have a tool tray , cooler, gas generator, extension cord, solar generator with battery power, clothes tote, cooking drawer, and basic welding tools.
In the bed of the truck I have a foam 3" memory foam pad on top of a carpet that covers the bed.
The box fan is crucial for keeping cool and flying bugs away.

    Nice topper clamps. :D

I used those to get my topper home from the junkyard where I found it, since I hadn't thought ahead and bought the clamps first.

The V8 is pretty awesome and adds great enjoyment when I’m driving my FGT. That being said, I’m pretty sure this V6 5spd 4WD AC is the best version of the FGT. Love it. Shame the V8 was never offered with a 5spd. A supercharger on that V6 would make it even more amazing.

YES. I just sold a 3.4L V6 Tacoma. I remember that the T100s came with the same engine. I always thought the T100 was the perfect size truck, but I don't know...while the 3.4 was great power for a Tacoma, I didn't love the idea of it powering a bigger truck like the T100. Then when I saw that the early Tundras also came with it...I thought 'no way'.

No idea what a Tundra feels like with the 3.4, but I guess it would probably remind me of my pre-Tacoma Toyota pickups with 4 cylinder engines. Underpowered, but as long as you aren't towing or anything, they get the job the done.

I do miss my 5 speed. I've never owned a truck with an auto tranny till this spring, with the Tundra. Nice in some ways, but if the V8 had been available with a 5 speed I would have sought that out.

Magnuson has a nice kit I considered it several times but the 3.4 is fine for what I do and I don't want to put any more money in the truck that is not totally needed due to the rust on the bottom of the original cab I just can't get my money out if I were to ever sell

Hit 300k on my way back to Florida.

I spent $3,000 total expenses by camping in the truck.

I do have to admit the truck needs a more heavy rear leaf pack to carry the weight of the topper and supplies but did great anyways. The tundra has a large capacity fuel tank and can run for a good distance. Was nice when crossing the desert.
The manual transmission worked nice when in the mountains. The 3.4 also did excellent. I kept the RPMs at 3k and it could do most any incline. The upgrade WL cast brake calipers did excellent. I am extremely pleased with the comfort, reliability and performance of this truck.

Well at about 30k miles a u-joint is having an issue... I disconnected the driveshaft and spun the axle , it still makes a clunking clacking sound like a bad bearing race...Been hearing a roar at 70mph so I think there's a couple problems but going to tackle the u-joint first

Still have a sound coming from spinning the axle with the driveshaft unbolted. Going to see if I also need an axle bearing...

    A replacement...
    IMG_20240929_154238820.jpg

Final product fit excellent. The truck is driving much smoother now
    IMG_20240929_173823601_HDR.jpg

I ordered the axle bearing puller tool in case I have to replace the axle bearing.. man these bearing are expensive
