my 0.02...I didn't care for it til my buddy rented a Titan 4x4 to go to the snow. It did extremely well on stock tires during a snow storm/dump.
We never got stuck and even passed a lifted Tacoma 4x4 that was stuck on the the icy road :notsure:.. that was a bone stock 4x4 Titan.

    Toyota vs Nissan.

Ha, that's a fucking no brainier. Everyone makes a mistake from time to time, you just have to learn from them. Me, I made that stupid mistake 1 time, I bought a Nissan and I will not do that again. You couldn't give me one of those piece of shits again.

Buy Toyota and never buy again!!!

I totally agree about the design seeming a but disproportionate. The one that looks really nice is the Titan Warrior. I think by widening the fenders out, the front half of the truck looks a little better from the side. I'm just not sure that it ever went to production, or will in the future.

I have to agree. This is pretty badass for a Titan. Which I’m not usually a fan of for style. I like that Cummins motor option tho...

ya it does. I like all the amber rock lights on the fenders too. Assumed they are lights and not a reflector.

I know people that work at the Nissan plant in Canton, MS.

They buy Toyota. So, there is that.

I'm just messin' around and no offence is intended, of course. I'm OK with people liking other trucks and I don't have anything against Datsun, Nissan, whatever.....

I liked that name. Nissan makes me wonder if it's the same company that makes "Cup of Noodles?"

Alright, I add my two cents.

A 360 degree camera is a great feature, I had it on my last F-150's and wish the Tundra had one. With that said it wouldn't be enough of a reason to buy another truck. I never driven a Titan but they are supposed to have super comfortable seats in the higher trim levels and get a little bit better MPG unless you get the HD. The looks are a subjective matter, you either like it or you don't. It really doesn't matter what others think since only you have to like it. At first I thought they were ugly but I think now they look OK, especially the Platinum Reserve is a nice truck. I think they have the best warranty coverage as well.

Last, if you looking for more tech just wait a year or so until the new Tundra comes out. That will be my next truck, this time a Platinum or 1794.

Wow, too much to read. Nissan would be my 2nd choice next to the crap the big three put out.
I bought a 88 hardbody new and beat the hell out of it. It was a great mini truck.
However, I’m driving a tundra and love it too. That being said, I think nissans are pretty good also.

If the titan was more reliable and dependable than the Tundra I would consider it much better looking too. Form follows function in my aesthetic tastes. What works well looks good.

A Titan SL can be had for less than a Limited Tundra. I know because I almost bought one before I bought my Tundra. The Titan does sound MUCH better than the Tundra, but go read about the transmission issues over on the Titan forum. Looks are obviously subjective, and I agree that most Titan configurations are ugly, but they can look really good if set up right.

Resale only comes into effect if your going to dump it off in a few years. If you keep a truck for the long haul its not as much an issue, plus if you live in an area like I do where your taxed on the value of the truck yearly your paying much more because of "resale"

Titans frontend looks a little awkward like mentioned above, that engine is supposed to be a strong runner. I have read the XD is pretty much a waste and you should just move into a 2500 truck. Titan for the previous gen was rated the worst in reliability I think, maybe they fixed it with this gen but I have seen lots of issues pop up. Nissan is offering a good warranty though so if your not upset about being inconvenienced by downtime it might be worth it, plus I have seen some good deals on Titans, like 10k off.
