thanks man. I missed that thread and just read it over.. I think any exhaust might have that problem.. I have no kids and the wife leaves for work before I even wake up... I think I still want it. His initial positive reviews has me sold on it.

I actually bought it off him...I dont mind loud as long as theres no/minimal drone. I had one setup on a previous truck that would make me sick from the drone...never again.

The 1/4 wave resonator is magic. At cruise, with little load on it on the interstate at 70mph we could carry on a normal conversation and the 3mo old would be fast asleep.

Now, when you're on the throttle, the thing absolutely screamed. IF it hadn't woken up the fam every morning, it would still be on the truck. But garage parking and the bedroom right above it was a no go. :/

Thanks guys. Excited for more reviews. Seems like @Daedalus is the only one that has had it on their truck yet. I am just waiting for my bonus in May to order!

Going in to the muffler shop in a couple of hours. Will have some feedback later today. I currently have a JBA (Borla clone) with a Vibrant resonator...very very mellow setup with no loud drone.

Good lord this thing sounds awesome. It's so quiet inside too. You mostly hear it when driving around town and getting up to speed. On the hwy though, dead silent. Topped out it's mostly wind noise, not the exhaust. I'll try to take some vids for you guys, but this thing is awesome.

It sounds so good. Sucks you couldn't keep it. It's definitely louder around town compared to what came off but it's not loud at all. It's really what a subtle exhaust should sound like

Muffler shop guys were all skeptical because of how tiny the entire setup is. Once we fired it up, we were all shocked at how mellow and good it sounds but then barks when you get on it.

Heck yes. This truck has no business sounding like that good, but yet it does.

    Equal length y pipe ftw.

    Eddie,
You have the factory single exit, resonated, non-TRD tailpipe on there?

I think that is the litmus for toning this thing down on cold starts...

I have the TRD pro exhaust.

Yeah, I could see it making it louder. This setup has a loud 2-2,400 section when around town...no rasp or drone, just loud. It could get too loud w/o the oem resonator for sure. Its extremely light too...way lighter than my old setup and that was a feather compared to the oem trash can muffler

This is great to hear! I have a ‘24 platinum so should have the same stock end as you do.

That cold start sounds super mellow. I can’t imagine that bothering the neighbors. Much quieter than their 3 yappy dogs for sure…

Please post more videos if you end up taking more!

I'll try to get some in-cab videos with the windows up. I want to highlight the "loud" rpm range around town.

Please excuse the rolling burnout...JB4 map 5 is SPICY and I can't launch hard off the line because I just roast them.
