New Shoes for the PRO

Only heated up the actual mud flap where it sits on the body mount. The liner was no longer a problem after the CB bumper shim kit.

 

Just read/saw your response...thanks for the info, this truck is going to be a pavement princess...my wheeling days are done. Can’t bring myself to do another full on build like my 1st Gen Taco . The only articulation will be over speed bumps

Go 285/75/18. It’s a true 35. The 295s aren’t 35s and Nittos 35x12.5 tire is only 34.76! But it’ll fill the wheel well and give you a natural but of tire lift. Now it’ll look like you took a break on ab day.

 

I have been searching for anyone who has had experience with this size. Was about to start a thread on it. I like the idea since, like you said, it is a true 35. Any pics with this set up and what, if anything, did you do to make them fit?

 

I don’t have a pro, but I do have a 55mm lifted off-road, and I’m having 285/75r18 Falken put on the stock rims with spidertrax wheel spacers. Install is 1/23 Will let you guys know how it goes. Hoping the thinner tire won’t rub too bad, be a little cheaper/lighter than a 35, and get all the sidewall/ground-clearance I can get without a BMC.

 

I don’t have this on my truck currently. I was avoiding a lift but realize it’s inevitable. So what I’m moving to is a 3/1 with this size tire. I’m planning for a CMC for sure. Decided this is my forever truck so fuck it.
I researched up and down, and want 35s on my Ray10s.
Current truck with no lift and 275/70/18s..

 

@Dutch110 not exactly what you are seeking, but another reference. Stock 2020 TRD Pro with Nitto Exo Grappler LT285/70R18 provides finger width of clearance on pavement turns with front mud flap installed.

 

Not a fan of the Toyo AT2’s. They spin every time from a stop when it’s wet out. The KO2’s I had on my 18’ never spun as much as the Toyo’s I currently have on my pro.
