Forgot how needy pups were. We lost our Jack Russell after 15 years to old age. Hes been easy but its early yet.

Cute pup! Congratulations, I’m sure he will turn out great for ya! I’ve been looking myself since loosing my pooch a couple years ago. I have few prospects and think I’ll pull the trigger this spring! Here is a pic of my big guy before I lost him.
    Enjoy the new pup!!!!

    Good choice OP.
My pup just passed last month, 14 good years. Best dog and friend I've ever had.

Thanks for the replies guys. Hes been easy to potty train but we head out every 30 min. Crate training has been easy. He eats there and enjoys it. I'd love to sleep in past 4am though. Hope he likes the pool.

Big guy? He's a horse! I don't think I have the capacity to take care of an animal that large, let alone feed him.

You'd definitely think that looking at them, but they're giant couch potatoes. I had a great dane and an english mastiff/newfie mix in a 1200sqft apartment for 2 years and they did just fine. Just like having another roommate.. that drools.

Congrats on the new pup, OP! Beautiful dogs in this thread.

I heard. The puppy stage is a doosey. Lol. Makes a Jack Russell seem like a basset hound.

Docked. The owner of litter did it. I personally would have left the tail, as he's a house dog and not running hogs, etc but to each their own.
