    Been a long time lurker when doing my research to buy a truck. Got a 2018 4WD Platinum in MGM. Definitely enjoying the heck out of my Tundra.

    I have had a couple of issues that I'm not sure if other people have. I had discoloration in my leather panels on all panels but my driver panel (replaced by dealer). The only other things that have been bugging me is a sort of clicking/tapping noise that sounds like it's near the base of the windshield/outside of the driver side. Also I have noticed a sort of coffee maker/popcorn sound at low speeds and sometimes idle at lights (have only noticed when in gear).

    Anyways onto the mods I have done so far:

    I guess I should also note that my truck is a part of the trucks needing the Airbag ECU update, however mine has not exhibited any of the symptoms others have mentioned. I'm hoping I can get the dealer to check out my dash gremlins when they update the ECU.

    Welcome from Texas! I have a similar “dash gremlin” making popcorn sounding noises on the drivers side. Mainly when it has been sitting out in temps below freezing and the defroster is running. Mine seems to be coming from the plastic molding on the door right near the vent. I haven’t gotten it checked out though. Let us know what they figure out.
