    Stock for now!!!
Brand new member today. Have a 2012 Tacoma double cab SR5 4X4 with tow package and 40K miles. Absolutely love the truck but need the size of the Tundra (twins will do that to you). I have a question for the group. I see a CPO 2014 Limited Crew Max 4X4 with 17K miles or a new SR5 for about the same money. Thoughts?

KBB has my Taco valued at 28K my good friend and Tundra owner says list it for 30 because it is basically a CPO vehicle with the excellent condition and low miles. That just seems high to me. Thoughts??

Thanks and will be putting up pics of my next truck soon

I had a 14 Platinum crewmax. Traded in on a 16 SR5. (I had my reasons, ok) Two things I've noticed. The fuel tank on the 16 is much bigger, which it needed badly, and it may be my imagination but the SR5 4x4 Crewmax seems to ride better than my 2x4 Platinum did.....go figure.

Yes next truck will be 5.7 crew max and 4x4. I stated the used truck was a limited but i meant platinum. The only reason I like the Platinum a "little" better is because it has a sun roof.

I personally would go with new SR5. It would be quite expensive to upgrade your gas tank, which I assume comes with newer truck. With that money, you could upgrade some interior items you may want, and you still have a new truck.

Around here Tundras hold their value so well, it's hardly worth buying a used late model example. I looked for quite a while and then just bought new.

I'd go used, especially since Toyota will give you the same financing and warranty on a certified used as they will with a new one.

Whichever one blows your skirt up the most. I'd check both of them out. Since they're about the same price, at this point it's really about what you like and don't like.

By the way, congrats on the twins! (I'm a twin myself LOL)
