Honestly, I agree and they have a smoked lens. Ultimately I plan/hope to make my own taillights.

I honestly like them more than any aftermarket ones. Same with the Tacoma but at least they have black ones. I think there are 6-7 different finishes

along with the tail light conversation kit for both

Since everyone is putting their $0.02 in, I need to get two things off my chest.

    1. People are complaining about the way these tail lights look.

If you don't like them, do not buy them. Personally, I am happy Morimoto made these and gave us another option. There are as many opinions out there, as there are people; it's hard make everyone happy. Again, you have other options. Also, instead of saying "these suck", try providing constructive criticism. I doubt Morimoto will change the design, but at least we will sound more mature, as opposed to sounding like spoiled brats.

    2. People are complaining about the cost of these tail lights.

Personally, quality is important to me. I haven't seen these in person, but I am expecting this to be an OEM quality part; hopefully this is the case. I hope these were not designed and built to a price point, but rather designed with quality in mind, and then priced accordingly. Most of us spent over $50K on the Tundra, so $600 shouldn't be a big deal. If you think about it, it's 3 full tanks of gas.

...just some food for thought. ;)

I think it's time to put my flame suit on. ;)

I just want to say that at $200/tank for you, that's nuts and I do not envy you lol

The $600 comes out to roughly 4.6 tanks of premium fuel for me, with the 38gal tank, based upon the cost of my most recent fill up.

Agree with the rest of your post. and I like how the lights look

all aftermarket taillights look awful on the tundra……the best thing you can do is smoke wrap your original tail-lights like i have done on my 2020.

Ya that’s what I thought at first, until I seen these morimoto ones!
Smoke wrap is good, hide more of the halogen bulbs.

My Morimoto XB taillights just arrived …. Literally. They came with load reducers. Does anyone know if the load reducers are polarity sensitive? As the wires coming off the back of the Tailights have a red and black wire and the wires coming off the back of the resistors are both black. However, one of the wires coming off the the resistors has a clear little plastic sleeve on it

    Not polarity sensitive.

    Quality is OEM grade.

Love `em. [Tint on taillights is not legal in Texas.]
