Hi my name is Bernie I'm not entirely new to toyota my wife and I owned a 2008 tundra and loved the towing and power that the 5.7 had but were not to happy with the gas mileage. So when we traded it in we went with the 2013 ford xlt 5.0 After 16 months of computer problems we decided to come back to toyota for a new 2015 Tundra boy are we happy. We are going to be snow birds starting this year and I am so glad we got the new Tundra is will tow 10,300 lbs and as far as the gas mileage the Ford only got 10 mph towing and we got 9.5 on the 2008 Tundra so a half mile difference is not so all important that I would ever think of owning anything other that a Tundra ever again. I really like this site I have already gotten some good info from you about the trailer brake controller install. I will post pictures of my wife's new truck when it comes in we had to order it and it takes 8 weeks to receive it. Good to be here hope to talk again later

Thanks looks like you do some off roading in your truck that's cool. We use ours for mostly towing . We have a 34 ft travel trailer . We ordered the Barcelona Red Tundra Double Cab with a 5.7 engine.probably won't do anything extreme like you did cause were old farts ha ha. But even stock the Tundra is an awesome truck. Thanks for the reply will be talking again like I said when the truck gets here have a good night.
