New member saying hello from VA. Just got my FGT 2 weeks ago and have been browsing this forum and discovering a wealth of knowledge. Looking to do some mods on the tuck but want to keep it pretty stock as well as restore it where it needs maintenance etc.

Rig is in pretty good shape 158,000 miles, 1 owner before me, no accident, some rust and a small frame repair, documentation of timing belt and water pump being done @~90K, Taupe interior and all original books and window sticker.

    List of first mods/maintenance is:

    1. New tires
    2. Paint correction
    3. Replace moon roof gasket ( looks like squirrels got to it)
    4. Bell crank replacement Driver side seized up
    5. back up cam with auto dim mirror and lcd screen (need some help/guidance here, confirmed it has been wired for Auto dimming)
    6. maybe some suspension work LBJs and alignment not sure how I feel about a lift

Any advice would be welcome. thx!

Welcome from CA! Nice to see another 06 DC. Didn't find too many threads about this but on the 06, if you're looking for larger tire size without too much work, 255/80r17 on stock rims fit well. Do have Bilstein 6112 1.6" lift in the front and have only seen light rubbing on driver side frame after off-roading (did not see evidence before off-roading). UCAs and LCAs are stock and haven't had any other issues.

In addition to the LBJs (OEM of course), would recommend checking out the LCA bushings, was one of the items I had to fix after purchasing my truck but it was in an accident before so maybe that had something to do with it?
