    2014 Tundra Limited
    Hello from Albuquerque
I am at this point probably the newest member on the forum.

I have a 2014 Toyota Tundra Limited that I bought primarily to tow a 22 foot Airstream.
It has served that purpose well, and almost all of the 22450 miles on it were put there towing the 5200 lbs trailer and equipment.

I had a Toyota 4x4 in 1980 when they beefed up their SR5 and it did almost everything my Ford F250 did... but the Toyota got much better gas mileage than the Ford 351 Cleveland which passed everything except a gas station.

I bought the Airstream first, and then the tow vehicle. At the time I had a full sized Bronco that had the engine and towing capacity, but a rather short wheel base... so I scoured the Airforum threads and, of course, heard all about how you had to have a diesel yada, yada, yada. There was, however, a significant number of people who towed 25 to 30 foot Airstreams with a Tundra.

It was difficult to dismiss the number and the satisfaction of these Tundra owners, so ultimately, I was convinced that the Tundra was the right answer for me.
That part hasn't changed. I am in my late sixties and spent half of my adult life in the U.S. Army, and the other half working for Ball Aerospace Corporation, a defense contractor. Now retired, I spend my time traveling and playing golf.

I actually found this forum on a web search trying to find a windshield washer hose, since mine was either cut by the hinge or eaten by some varmint (actually I think the former, but can't rule out the latter).

Hope to learn a few things along the way. Dan.
