Im a little late to the party, bought a 17 Platinum 4x4 in October. Been doing some easy mods like TRD Pro Grill, rear sway bar, and shift knob, color matched mirror caps and door handles, drivers side grab handle, interior leds. Probably do TRD dual exhaust next. I can see this things going to empty my wallet fast.

    Welcome from Fairview, PA!
Before you buy the exhaust you should hear it on a similar truck to make sure it is what you want. My truck came with the TRD dual exhaust and I was not impressed. I bought a Flowmaster system and am still not impressed. I will wait until I hear one I like before biting the bullet again.

Welcome to the forum from the western side of PA. I've had my TRD exhaust for close to 5 years now and it still makes me smiles every time I stomp on it. If you are looking for a very loud exhaust this is not it. You might look at Glasspack of something similar. TRD exhaust is sounds almost stock when causing. It's when you stomp on it, it comes alive. No drone (not the case with most loud exhausts).

That's what I am looking for. Something that sounds good when you get on it but close to stock when cruising.

Nice looking ride. If that's what you are looking for, you won't be disappointed with the TRD exhaust.

Welcome from Texas! That's a good looking Platinum! I got to hear a Tundra last week with the TRD exhaust and it sounded perfect when on the throttle. It's not loud when at idle speeds which is nice if you don't want hear your exhaust over your stereo.

Thanks. Your truck looks great. I actually got to hear one today as a guy at my gym just got a Pro. Sounded really nice when on throttle and not loud at all at idle or cruising speeds. That decided it for me.[/QUOTE]
