20x9 0mm offset XD 820 Wheels 295/55/20 Nitto Ridge Grappler 2 coach builder shims per side in front 1" ready lift rear block
Hello, I just purchased a tundra trd pro a few weeks ago. It is my second Tundra but my first time checking out forums. The reason I started looking at forums is to see what others are doing as far as upgrades etc. I work on a river boat and went back to work just after purchasing my truck. So far I have read many discussions and taken the info toward upgrading my own truck. I ordered coachbuilder shims (which I had never heard of) to raise my front end 1" and a 1" block for the rear. I have ordered spidertrax 1,25 spacers to give me more offset with my stock wheels and tires, which by the way I would think Toyota should have put a more aggressive tire on an off road edition truck.
My last truck was a '12 tundra with a 3-2 lift I ran 305/55/20 terra grapplers on 20x9 rims. I do not know the offset. They rubbed the mud flaps and I had to remove them. I plan to try to run about the same size but will go with a 305/50/20 this time around. "My big question" what offset should I go with on this setup?????? Thank you for taking the time to read my post.20161023_091912.jpg

Welcome, I think you want the offset to be about +20 - + 30. Someone else with more knowledge will chime in though.

    welcome...nice looking cement TRDP.

The spidertrax spacers your ordered are going to make your factory wheels close to +20 offset. If you're planning on buying aftermarket wheels, you may not want to run those spacers. Normally, people shoot for a somewhere around +20 - +30 offset (as mentioned above) to get the tires flush with the fender. Those spacers would turn a +30 wheel to a 0 offset. I would suggest either just running the spacers on your factory TRDP wheels, or run no spacers and get aftermarket wheels.

That 305/50/20 tire is 32"...that may look a little small, especially if you're planning on lifting it an inch more. Factory Tundras come with 32s. Your Pro is 2" higher in front, plus you're adding CB shims...so, your front will be 3" higher than factory Tundra. I think a lot of TRDP guys are running in the ballpark of 295/70/18, which is a 34" tire

+20-+30 would be my vote. But I wouldn't get spacers also. Only get spacers if you're keeping your current wheels.
But welcome to the site! She looks awesome. Can't wait to see it built up.
