    Hello there. just got a 2015 Toyota Tundra 1794 edition w/ the 5.7L V8.

Might be doing some minor things like exhaust, TRD (or K&N) cold air intake, and tuner. I love everything else on the truck so much that I don't want to change the look anything like that. mainly used to haul myself and family, as well as the occasional enclosed trailer, haul off the trash, help move furniture, etc. it's the rear wheel drive version so no going crazy in the back pasture here. I do live on a farm and enjoy the ground clearance and such. I hope to gain some good knowledge to help me keep this truck around and see if the 5.7 can reach the million mile marker like the old 2007's have been doing.

last batch. Like I said, I only want to do a few basics mods like the CAI, exchaust, tuner combo. I've got the running boards, bed cover, and window tint taken care of.

yes, I have two daughters. With me being 6'4" 275 lbs, I was having a hard time finding anything to fit the whole family in that had enough space for me as well. sat in and drove suburbans, tahoes, and yukons, but the price, storage, and head space didn't do it for me. the sequoia's and expeditions were nice but not for the price people wanted them. at the end of the day I love the layout of this truck, the space, the power, but I would like to get it up to 20 mpg. I knew this thing wouldn't be great on gas mileage, but that doesn't mean that there aren't ways to help improve it just a little bit :)

Plus, living in the south means we live in a truck culture and I was literally the only guy in my family without one lol.

thanks for the welcome, guys! there is an absolute plethora of knowledge on these trucks posted here. I look forward to delving in so I can keep my truck around for a long time and maybe upgrade the performance little by little down the road. I believe my most immediate threat is the boat load of deer I encounter every day on my way to and from work, so that research is first. Finding something that actually works without taking away from the beauty of that 1794 edition.
