If I wasn't doing the big brake upgrade I would have down sized my rims to 18" too.

Time for an update. Finally put the suspension on. Not overly happy with the amount of lift in the rear, but I guess I'll have to get use to it. Truck ride has changed completely. Definitely doesn't have the body roll around turns which makes the truck feel sportier. Need to put some miles on now.

Why are you not happy with the lift on the rear? To high to low?

To high. It's up more than an inch. Hopefully it will settle a bit over time.

I'm going to order tires and wheels today. I'm thinking 295/60/20 or 285/65/20 what do you guys think?

Which deaver pack did you go with? U478? Did you use MCM's shackles?

Cool. Yea it should settle a little in the rear after some use. I had a similar kit on my Tacoma with the expo springs in the back and after some use it settled. So should be the same with these packs.

I think I may remove the rear sway bar to see how the truck rides

Any thoughts on tire size? I really don't want 35s, but I also don't want the new tires to look to small

The 295 you mention earlier should look fine. I went with 35x12.50 on mine with 17inch wheels. That is with the stock suspension still.

I did the cab mount chop and trim the front bumper a little but no rubbing at all. Offset of the wheels plays a big part in that also.

The wheels wheels have an 18 offset. It looks like my stock wheels won't work with the big brakes.

+18? How wide? You gonna run 20? As far as the big brake kit I wouldn't know man.

+18 offset and I'm forced to run 20s with the big brakes. The width will be 9 inches

Sounds like you will be fine. The width of the tire will be a factor also if you will need a cab mount chop. As long as you stay under a 12.50 wide tire you should be good.

Update time. Truck is almost done! I'm glad I went with 295/60s. They fit with no trimming, I did need to remove the mud flaps.

Tires ride really stiff. When I got home the pressure was 85. I will assume because I had driven home and the pressure went up from the heat. I believe they were aired up to the max which is 80psi. I'm looking for a better ride so I lowered the psi to 65 and will drive and see how it ride. Fyi I don't care about tire wear the ride quality is more important. That being said how low is to low of pressure? 50?
