Been a longtime lurker throughout the waitlist waiting game for a Tundra. Was notified within the last week that my dealer that I've been on the waitlist for since September 2021 received an allocation from Toyota for a 2022 Tundra TRD Pro in Solar Octane that's got my name on it. Still a temporary VIN but they expect an October build date with delivery in November.

Solar Octane wasn't my first choice, but it's growing on me as I read about needing to see it in person. The orange on black has me feeling like Halloween is about to be in season all day everyday. I am planning on sticking with the Orange/Black theme.

Thinking about doing a black hood wrap (saw a pic of someone who did that on their white TRD pro somewhere on here and looked legit). Then doing the black TRD Pro lettering on the tailgate and tossing a DiamondBack HD Tonneau on there. Just need to decide if I like the rugged black look or the smooth black...

Anyways, thought I'd say hey before posting all over the place.

I'm in almost the exact same situation. I've been waiting since Aug of 2021 and my dealer finally called today to let me know they have a TRD Pro coming with an early Oct delivery date. My first choice was the Lunar Rock with black interior; however, the allocation is a Solar Octane and I'm more than happy with that color as well. From one new guy to another, welcome...
