I am on Day 5 of owning my first Tundra, after a lifetime of driving Chevy and Ford. Test driving the Tundra reminded me of what it was like to have fun driving a vehicle! Anyway, nice to meet you all and Semper Fi![IMG]

Welcome from CO and thanks for your service. Please post pics of the new ride and let us know what else drove you (no pun intended) to switch to a Yota. It's cool to hear stories of why people switch.

Thanks guys, my latest truck was a 2015 Ford F150 crew cab w/ eco boost. I've probably owned 12-15 fords over my lifetime, 2 Chevy Silverados, and 1 Dodge Ram. It was very nice to get 22-23mpg with the ecoboost, but when I drove the Tundra I had an absolute blast. Honestly, I had missed having real power on demand. I also got tired of declining values on the vehicles listed above. Anyway, I love the Tundra so far and I'm already looking at TRD PRO parts to buy!

I just traded my 2007 Tacoma for my new Tundra about 6 weeks ago. I originally paid 26K for my Tacoma and got a little over 13K for trade in after 10 years of driving. So for about $100 per month. I'd say not to bad for holding it's value!! I've driven Toyota's for most of my life (I'm 54). Often thought maybe giving Ford a test drive, but could never get myself to do it. Many years behind the wheel of a Toyota, owned a 1st gen 4runner for over 15 years with no problems, then a 1st gen Tacoma with not problems, then a 2nd gen Tacoma for over 10 years without any problems. Why would I change. I know my Tundra will give me the same trouble free service!

Welcome friend. Upgrade that air intake and exhaust and you will love the 5.7......and go heavy on the pedal. Take advantage of that 1.99 a gallon.

I'm sure this has been answered a million times, but does the TRD CAI and exhaust impact the manufacturers warranty?
