    2016 TRD Off-road
Hey guys just bought a brand new TRD off-road a week ago. Got my love for yotas when I bought a 2011 Tacoma a few years ago. The maintenance started to get expensive seeing that it's at 250,000 miles and I just started taking it off-roading lol. Went to the dealer to buy another taco when I saw a Tundra and instantly changed my mind, who wouldn't want to upsize?

I'm going to look through the forums but if anyone can point me in the right direction for some mods that would be much appreciated.

As it sits (stock obviously) I'm itching to make it look better. So here goes my to do list.

Debadge - the emblems will be easy with some fishing line. I'm not so sure the safest way to remove theTRD Off-road sticker on either side of the bed

Eliminating chrome - I'm not a huge chrome fan my main concern being the grille and the top and bottom pieces around the grille. Is it possible to get paint matching surrounding pieces? I know the center inserts can be found by a simple google search.

Headlights and tail lights - I got ripped off bad on the taco with headlights so what do you guys recommend company/brand wise. Also on the light topic how can I run the fog lights and just the fog lights without headlights, I can't seem to figure it out.

That's about it for now just simple things, shooting to lift it with bigger rim/tires a year from now, thanks for all the help guys now here's a picture of my Taco and my new Tundra. Yes I still own the taco.

    Welcome. Let the modding begin...
I had my headlights retrofitted by a member/sponser here, eledobleu. I think he's got some for sale in the classifieds. There's an anytime fog light mod. Just search for it here, if you don't find it I'll send a link. I just did it over the weekend. For the grille ask Roman.

    Welcome from TN!

For mods, a 3/1 /suspension setup with wheels and bigger tires will get you started nicely!

Sticker- I've heard people using a rubber wheel (like those that you use to remove pinstripes) and goo gone with some wax afterwards.

Chrome- paint matched pro grille and either plastidip, line x, peelable spray on vinyl, powdercoat, or paint matching will do the job. You'd probably need to get someone to do it for you (the paint matching) but since your trucks black, spray on vinyl would do the trick. A guy on here did his and it looks OEM.

Headlights- retrofit or spyder will get it done

Welcome from the other side of PA. Congrats.

Window tint is one of the first things I did. But as you know, PA law specifies 70, which is pretty much what comes with the truck. I live in an area where they are pretty lax about tint law. But I am not sure in your neck of the wood.
