@truckgirl24 I love it! I have the drop in bedliner so had to make a few "cuts" to it to make sure clamps were straight and secure on the rail. In regards to leakage, we had a ton of rain here in Virginia over the past week and only had a few drops in the bed afterwards (near the cab). I didn't place the weatherstrip near the bulkhead per the instructions so I am guessing that is where the moisture is coming from. I did a ton of research on tonneau covers for what I was looking for (solid, trifold, can shut the tailgate with it closed) and the MX4 truly fits the bill. I highly recommend it!

That's awesome....I bet you could do something like that that could store under the seat when it's not in use....kind of like in the Ram. throw the seats up, pull it out and the pups are set! Not spoiled....well loved

    Welcome @truckgirl24 !

I have the Mx4. It's great but it's pretty pricey. Make sure you wait for sales if you do get one. As far as water tight. It's not 100% water tight. I made a thread on how to seal it better but some water still gets in there.

Also look into extang covers. They are much cheaper.

@Brutus T @BlueBottle Thanks, guys! It seems like the best one for my needs. I am willing to pay more for quality. My main concern was leaking, since I store luggage in the back a lot during traveling. I had a painted hard top on my last Tundra that I never once had a drop of water in, but it was a huge pain to take off when needed, which seemed to be way more than I had anticipated, of course.

    Welcome to the forum.

I have BAKFlip F1 and love it in the summer. During the winter months, the tonneau cover freezes and makes the bed unusable. It is fortunate that I really don't utilize the bed during the winter season, but that's something to consider for you since you are in a cold state. I think any trifold cover has tendency to freeze. Most of these covers are designed so that water is channeled into the gutter under the cover and drains through the drain hoses in the front. It works well as long as water doesn't freeze.

Have you considered a truck cap instead?

@chphilo That is definitely something for me to consider. Thanks for the info! I had a painted cover before and that was really great, but the caps aren't really my thing. I think my problem is that I was the ease of use that comes with the bakflips, but I also want to keep water out. I think I can be happy with either choice, really. The bakflips are definitely cheaper.

Welcome from Northern Illinois. The trifold covers are nice, but they will all leak eventually. Water/ice gets in and soon enough you'll have a leak.

Have you been to the McHenry offroad park? I've heard but never been.
