A little rowdy, but nice tone to it. I likes.

And since no exhaust thread would be complete without somebody asking... any drone?

no drone on the street version. A little bit on mine but doesn’t bother me because race car. But I’m going to test a version on the old mans truck that should solve this. It’s more tone in the cab than drone. I’ll post up a coffee run interior video

With the tube diameter, I assume this system is appropriate for boosted applications only. It’s beautiful, but from what we’ve all been told, big diameter has a negative effect for N/A trucks.

This would be correct but the difference here is the equal length aspect so this worked very well on the NA blue tundra.

Here’s a video just heading to my am coffee run. Let’s try and ignore the pissing rain lol

    https://youtube.com/shorts/Dp_H_I2OD7s?si=21J8wS7ZCpWf4nx-

On the freeway in 6th it’s silent but I’m usually in S5 or S4. Like I said the old lady said this seems more quiet than what it had before. In my mind we should a 3rd option versions.

Street Version- fits for 80-90% of people
Street/Race combo- secondary delete, x pipe, helmz addition- 10-15%% of people
    Full race- idiots like me

Hey @Chad D. here is one that fits your 2018! Be careful cause it is shinny and goes under your truck!

AND it has a resonator. Curious if it impacts the crossover pipes scavenging if at all.

It probably works just not optimal in the resonator's band.

The resonator cancels pulses by reflecting waves out of phase causing destructive interference in the select frequency band.

The X pipe is assisting scavenging of the opposite pipe via alternating low pressure pulses and changes in overall diameter.

I doubt both opposing effects can take place at the same time.

I would expect reduced scavenging in the resonators band.

More importantly, would it even be noticeable on a dyno? :notsure:

Not a deal breaker for me just on observation.

I know they've done dyno testing on the eco boost platform with the similar setup and no negative gains reported. They pick up really good power

I need to see if I can locate a dyno around here even though we know how those numbers can be

Dont get me wrong the exhaust looks great. This is future proof for those that will start venturing into 700+ WHP range.

I like the helmhotz on that setup. Also looks like they have a slip fit connector over the axle - are they fitting a full tailpipe on that? Yours as a single pipe (for each side) up and over the axle to the dump.

Looks like you have a quality product and a solution many will be happy to have. It is nice to see that you have not been spammed by the usual delinquents and small-minded members/vendors that can't stand for, or support, option to their product. Don't settle for average - exceed and be successful.

It’s funny I don’t gain anything out of this. I just purely enjoy r&d and pushing platforms. I’ve built many cars etc and purely enjoy being different and wanting the best parts that make sense and if it benefits others that’s a win.

I'm glad someone said this so I didn't have to. The existing price points for certain systems are mindblowing to me given the sh!t quality of the steel, design AND welds

I wish aluminized steel exhausts were still a thing. I hate paying for stainless when I don’t need it. Just adds way to much to the system and makes it not attractive. It is a nice looking setup though and does sound great. Be curious if there are any power gains on an NA vehicle.

I’d say yes absolutely gains are had in the cats alone.

I’m already missing the rear cats and have an X-pipe and straight through muffler. Albeit all factory sized tubing. Wonder what this would gain over that.
