I have an 2000 Tundra 4x4 with V8 stock exhaust. I want to put a dual exhaust from the cat back but I heard if I put on the wrong one I could damage the engine. Want to confirm this before i do anything. Any one out there know anything about this and have any suggestions?

You got some bad info there. Even straight pipes added after the cat won't cause any engine damage.
Just find a system you like the sound of and go with it.

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
Only thing the wrong cat back system will potentially hurt is low end torque.

I didnt think it would hurt anything but I wanted to make sure. The truck runs perfect at 216,000 miles and I don't want to do anything to mess it up. Thanks for the input.
