Put that overdrive trans in there. It allows you to run a bit more aggressive gear ratio in the rear end as well, makes the car a lot more lively/quicker as well.

Tight car dude- that color is perfect. Love lowriders. One day I’ll level up and get one. For now I rock my bagged ten. Wish I could afford a set of d’s:spending:

That's the plan, i'm already dreading the drive down to LA in this thing. That said, i don't care abotu this thing being lively or quick. I just need to go above 60 mph with out turning 3000 RPM :D
Hell yea, i loved that 10! Always been a big fan!

Yea, it's pretty different, i've always liked variety.

Thanks for the rest of the comments guys!

Dude I ran into an old white codger at the dump today. He had an absolutely MINT 1985 RCSB Chevy Silverado. White, blue interior, all the options, perfect chrome, perfect grill, really damn nice paint, original rally wheels, just clean as hell. Said he bought it new in 1985. Had a whole load of junk in the back he was hauling off.

Noticed his truck, chatted him up a bit about it, of course if you live in Tennessee and encounter an old white native, you know its gonna be at least a 10 minute conversation, but this old man was interesting and hell I had time to kill. He lived a couple miles down the road from me, bought his house new in 1955, Korean war vet, widowed for 15 years now, lots of grandchildren and a couple of great grand children. Friended him on Facebook.

Gotta love the way an old vehicle fires up good talks between strangers. That’s a dying art.

EXACTLY!!!! If he had pulled up in a late model Chevrolet pickup, even a nice one, I probably would not have noticed who was driving it. Just some average Joe.

Somebody that takes pride in maintaining/detailing/fixing up an old car or truck like that old man, I instantly give him a bit of respect and take notice. I figure we might have at least a few similar interests, at least one of which is being fastidious and taking pride in what we own.

Fair enough. I always find it odd when someone who drives an old beauty doesn’t want to talk about ito_O stories are half the point!. My truck is quite far from being a restored truck haha. Fun tho!

Nope. Was a combo of some bad things by original owner. Bad welds. Bad geometry. No biggie. Currently rolling without shocks
