    Hello,

My name is Ken, and I acquired 2017 Tundra 1794 Edition, this summer, that we call Big Red. Actually, the previous owner named the Bluetooth connection that, and it's stuck.

I'm looking to add fender flares to it, for added protection from our harsh Northern Ontario salt and stone laden highways, in the winter, and the 60km gravel road run I do weekly, to our 3 season camp. Am I better off posting this question in another forum section?

Thank you very much, in advance,
    Ken

    Anyways, here's Big Red!

Welcome. All that salt and corrosive crap will collect in the fender flares and destroy under them.

I am not a fan of fender flares. Did it for about 2 months. Never again.

    Welcome from Wyoming.

Most of what you will get in your first post will be welcomes, but if anybody with an answer or info sees it they will chime in. If you don't get a satisfactory response, you might get better results posting up a separate post with the basic question/concern in the title.

    Thank you AzureNightmare!

I'll post elsewhere tomorrow, as well. It's a very active forum, and replies in this thread are more than I expected, within minutes!

    Thank you all,

If I put anything on it, mainly for stone chips, I want a subtle flare. I've checked-out Google images only, and didn't find anything, so Ithought I'd enroll here. I'm not looking for a real TRD Pro look either. It's kind of a Lexus truck, if they made one. I'm not an off-roader.

Thank you all, for your welcomes and input.

take a look at the Bushwacker OEM style ones. They are not big and bulky, and they don't have the rivets either.

    Function before sparkle.
Get a local company to add 3M or clear Xpel on the strip where your fender flare connects to the fender. Then install it. It will protect from the majority of damage.
