My wife was disappointed with the audio in our Limited, compared to our Rav4 (sold) and our 2015 Camry Hybrid (going strong). Since I could not really find any speaker adapters (reasonably) or other good information. I decided to see about an amplifier I had installed in a Prius C we had previously. I installed new speakers in the "C" and it was barely noticeable, so I installed a Sony amp (Sony XMS400D) and BAM! What a difference. So, I found a harness on Amazon (RED WOLF Add AMP Amplifier Subwoofer Speaker Wiring T-Harness Radio Stereo Plug Connector Compatible with Toyota 2018-2022 Camry RAV4 Tacoma Corolla Non-JBL System) and ordered the amp from Crutchfield.

I installed the amp (https://www.crutchfield.com/p_158XMS400D/Sony-XMS400D.html )a few months ago and after having used it I can honestly say it made a big difference in the bass and overall volume. It isn't a HUGE difference in power, but it is a noticeable difference. It was also easy to install and fits easily behind the factory touch screen since it is a compact amp. I can't wait for some adapters so I can install some better speakers. Surprisingly, the door speakers are not bad with the amp, but the dash speakers leave something to be desired. I am by no means an expert in audio, so YMMV.

Many of us have added amps, subs and replaced speakers. Yes, there are adapters out there for the speakers, just not at Crutchfield. I installed a Kenwood 5-channel amp and a JL shallow 10" sub but haven't done speakers yet. The sub makes a huge difference. There is a mega thread at the link below with a lot of good information.

I have seen that thread. There is good information but some of it is more than other people are willing to deal with. I was just letting people know there is a simple way to get better audio without disassembling the entire truck. For less than the Beat Sonic option (which I have never heard of). With the Sony, or other name brand compact amp, you get s brand name with a reputation you might be familiar with.
