New Toyota owner as of this morning. First time owning a Toyota product and so far no regrets. It's a 2016 MGM Tundra TRD Pro. After randomly finding one at a local dealer and four hours of paperwork later, I'm now a truck owner again :)

It can be done. I just finished deleting the chrome tonight.

I ordered the black mirror caps, door handles, and TRDPro color matched grill + hood bulge from @TRDSparks
I bought the TRDPro headlights from a member here who was selling them, and I just had my front bumper caps vinyl wrapped to match. (You can plasti dip white for a cheaper route)

It is now my mission to color match my bumpers and buy a painted pro grille. Here goes my money. Your truck looks awesome!

What about plasti dipping all those parts you mentioned? is there a reason why you ordered those parts instead of plasti dipping them?

Yessir. I wanted to do this differently opposed to my last one.
For the door handles and caps- no brained. Original parts will hold up much longer

Badges- I painted with Toyota black spray paint

    Grill- cleaner look
Caps- it'll hold up longer I would think. Also color matches better, IMO.

Great looking Truck! I have one on order, been a super long drawn out process but in the end I'll get the truck I want. You got super lucky finding one on a lot, from the information I have gather they only build 3500 each year.

I have this truck on order right now same color, I want to buy a cap, as I do a lot of skiing and need a place for the Hunting Dog as well. I have read all the threads on caps/toppers if anyone out there has a cap suggestion that is better for my uses....please suggest. I am looking for a cap that has a window that opens to my cab so the dog can poke in occasionally when he is not in his crate and one that has some sort of boot so the heat loss is not so huge between the cap and cab. Additionally looking for the ability to put roof racks on for the ski box. matching color is important. So far all I can find is the snug top xtr with the window up option on gas struts. Anyone have an opinion or experience? Also how do you like the running boards you put on this TRD Midwestoverlander?
