    Greetings from sunny San Diego!

    Glad I joined and already picking up some great info, hoping I can contribute the same along the way. Navy vet and desert rat (Glamis/GordonWells/ButterCup/Superstition and often Pismo and Dumont) with bunch of toys pulled on a 18ft trailer. I'm a lifted truck noob so i'm here to educate myself.

    Here goes... got a SMOKING DEAL to trade-in my 06-TRD 4WD Taco for a 17' SR5-4WD CM during the epic Pats-Falcons super bowl.

    Deal included the following and install work at 4WheelParts (El Cajon): 7" ProComp Stage-1 lift, 20" LRG wheels on 37 ProComp Xtreme M/T, Bestop powerboard automatic running board, and a ProComp skid plate. I should have omitted the skid plate because it's PC laser cut whistles like a banshee when I drive 70+ mph.

    Upcoming minor DIY projects: headlight/DRL swap or install, factory deck iphone mirroring, amp and behind seat woofer install, trailer mirrors, etc.

    Immediate projects: currently in research mode for the right airbag system (RideRite vs Daystar) and weight distribution kit for my soon to be (still undecided) toy hauler purchase.

    Again glad to be here and finding ya'll on google!

    Noisy but not annoying. I guess you get used to them. Wife complained about them at first but she too got used it. Irregardless, anything above 70, it's drowned out by the whizzing sound of my ProComp skid plate (laser cutout).
