    ecobee here, with Alexa, I don't use remote sensors as they make the unit run longer to cool/heat room that they are in..

    I have Ecobees. At the time they were more feature rich than their Nest counterparts. Numerous other Smart thermostats out there now, but I am perfectly happy with Ecobee. I can use my phone to control, geofencing, routine learning, and Alexa voice control capable.
