Going for this setup, which will weigh in at 1500lbs when done, and loaded. If something breaks, I will fix it.

But airbags are typically trouble free.
Usually, problems arise from improper install.

Air systems have been in use with the consumer for decades, even longer in commercial applications.
    They’re very dependable.

Wanted more travel and to adjust the rate. When the camper comes off, I want to take some of the pogo out of it.

@needsmoresalt Could you take some pictures and some measurements of the rear overhang of the Raven from your bed?

I've got a Raven on order and wanted a rear bumper with swing out tire carrier. But I will need to either modify an existing bumper or full build one to clear the overhanging 4WC. Your hitch mount carrier wouldn't work as I still need the OEM hitch.

    Thanks! And great looking rig.

One more thing how are liking the OME with D28 add a leaves with the air bag combo? That is the exact rear set up I will go with (along with the heavy OME front).

Have you weighed your rig? Especially a weigh in with and without your loaded Raven (I was guessing at 1500# as well).

    @needsmoresalt

Thanks for the reply. I was not aware that it retained the full tow rating.

I'm looking for a more custom swingout. A modular panel approach like the Expedition One. Spare or generator on the passenger side and gas/water on the driver. I'm willing and able to build it so might as well.

I'm looking for a picture or dim's that would show how many inches the Raven hangs over the end of the bed (with the tailgate removed). I know I'm going to need that custom swingarm to give that extra clearance the Raven protrudes past the bed.

For example here is a picture of how to solve the issue with a 45 degree modification to get the swing out away from the rear of the Raven.

Referencing the above picture. I need the overhang of the rear camper to the bed sheet metal. So place a ruler under the camper until it contacts the bed.

    Much appreciate your help.

That is a very smart idea on the 80-20 for the sand mats. I'm gonna use that idea! I now just have to wait for my Raven to be built. Ordered end of April and due sometime next summer - boo!

The engineer in me is trying to figure out how you mounted that front rack? Use the two shackle mount holes for a bottom support and some sort of grip on the bull bar for a top support. Impressive!

The post mounts to the battery could be a bit more secure, but overall, they are great.

@dittothat I have a front hitch, then a 2" .25 thick 316L square tubing that I cut and welded, then powder coated, to bolt to the rod and cooler rack. I used a no wobble locking hitch bolt from Curt. Easy on and off and has held up really well.
